Our Story
Our founder, Seth Harr, started Countryside Tree Service after years of working for others in the tree industry- predominately in St Louis, MO. He took pride in what he was able to learn from his mentors and decided he wanted to bring his skills and services closer to home. Countryside is operated out of Greenfield, IL which is where our founder was born and raised. We are proud to be a locally owned and operated business and provide quality tree services to Greene and surrounding counties.
Residential tree work is our forte, but Countryside Tree Service is no stranger to diverse projects. Our crew has done FEMA contracts following natural disasters, power line clearance and even some logging!
Meet Our Team
Seth Harr- Owner/Operator
Seth’s journey in the tree industry began with him cutting firewood on the family farm with his father at a young age, and he has had a chainsaw in his hand ever since. He progressed from cutting up firewood to learning how to climb, trim and remove trees at a professional level. Seth is a certified arborist and takes pride in his ability to continue learning and expanding his skill set.
Aside from running CTS, Seth has an assortment of hobbies and tends to stay pretty busy. Between his two sons, fiance and their four pets he routinely has his hands full!
Cody- Crew Member
Cody is a newer addition to our team and has been quite the asset! He is always taking initiative on jobsites and stays on top of any responsibility he is given. Cody is currently working as a member of our ground crew, but we have begun the process of training him to trim! With his positive attitude and great work ethic, Cody will surely continue to grow as a part of our team.
When he is not working hard with us, Cody can be found spending quality time with his son, riding motorcycles and spending time outdoors.
Jacob- Crew Foreman
Jacob is quite the asset! He has been working in the tree industry for as long as he can remember, which means he brings a lot of skill and experience to the table. Jacob can frequently be found operating the bucket, running ropes on the ground and providing much needed comedic relief on the long days.
When away from the job, Jacob enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and their pets, working on his aquariums and helping friends/family with various projects.
Klinton- Crew Member
Klinton is also a newer addition to the Countryside family! He is a seasoned groundsman and provides a lot of support to our trimmers. Klint is not one to be found standing still on a jobsite, as he is extremely ambitious and truly enjoys the work he does.
Outside of work, Klinton enjoys spending his time with his family- especially his newborn daughter!
